Bio

Eleonora Chacón Taylor (pronouns: she/her) was born in 1981 in San Jose, Costa Rica. Currently, she is teaching digital circuit design and completing her Electric Engineering studies at the University of Costa Rica.

She is also developing herself as a musical artist, after concluding studies in sound design, electronic music production and techno DJ performance at DJLab/Brooklyn Digital Conservatory, all this with great maestros: Charly Fariseo, Alejandro Vega, Richard Salazar, Mason Dunn, Esteban Howell and Dan Freeman.

Purplephlox has performed in different venues across San Jose, always bringing a sensible selection of electronic and techno beats. She is also delivering a monthly DJ set series: Mixed With Love, which can be listened to on SoundCloud. As a producer, on the second half of 2022, Purplephlox self-released two singles on mainstream streaming platforms.
